XII JUEGOS CENTROAMERICANOS
Central America Kickboxing’s in the Olympic Cycle.
One step closer to the Olympic Games! Guatemala City (Guatemala) was the host of the XII Juegos Centroamericano, the first competition of the Olympic Cycle. It is the biggest multisport event of the region. And the participation of kickboxing in this event is a great conquest for kickboxers of America.
The Juegos Centroamericanos was created by Organización Deportiva Centroamericana (ORDECA), and is validated by Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI). It is realized every 4 years, and is been hosted by Guatemala for the 4th time, October 18 - 30.

he participation of the best athletes from Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala. They are competing in 42 different sports in 56 modalities.
The Juegos counts with 2 women’s categories (-52kg and -56kg) and 4 men’s categories (-57kg, -63kg, -71kg and 75kg) of kickboxing competitions. They were disputed in the Low Kick modality.
